Composer, flautist and PhD with more than 40 CDs released for dacapo/Marco Polo, Tutl, Classico, Centaur, EMI, SONY Classical, CBS, and others. He works in sophisticated surroundings and popular culture, with digital experiments into the latest trends of interactive music and cross-modal forms, popular projects, and compositions in the modernistic European tradition from large-scale orchestral pieces to chamber music.

Commissions for performances in the near future include Media Arts Production (Switzerland 2008/09), and Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (Russia/Germany 2008). Major premieres in 2006 included 'Tears of Dionysius' for large ensemble, narrator, and film projection at the Reykjavik Arts Festival, and the interactive opera 'Trenes de Marzo' at Barcelona Opera Festival, produced by Acteón. His interactive sound/video installation ‘The SoundGlove II' was exhibited the fall 2005 at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Denmark), and his opera 'La Quintrala' for 5 singers and interactive computer was premiered September 2nd 2004 in Copenhagen with subsequent performances in Sweden and Germany.

He has held lectures and workshops at ao. June In Buffalo, Boston University, New York University, Juilliard School of Music, Columbia University, Florida International University, SUNY Buffalo University, Brandeis University (all USA); Rotterdam Conservatorium (Holland), Oldenburg University (Germany), Rubin Academy of Music, Jerusalem, Israel; Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts; The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Sonology Department, Kunitachi College of Music, Tokyo, Japan; Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Sydney University, Australia.

He is artistic director of the International Computer Music Conference 2007 (ICMC), to be held in Copenhagen (Denmark) August 27-31. He was Composer-in-residence 1997-99 at Odense Symphony Orchestra (Denmark), Artistic Director of the ISCM World Music Days 1996 (Copenhagen, Denmark). Lecturer since 2004 at Aalborg University Esbjerg's Department of Software and Media Technology and Associate Professor of Interactive Performance 1999-2004 at Carl-Nielsen-Academy of Music (Denmark). Since 1999 treasurer of the International Society of Contemporary Music (ISCM, Holland).
